I worked on this game with a team of my friends for the Global Game Jam 2023: Theme Roots! After the first 1 week game-jam we joined a month long jam for the Georgia Game Developers Association to build out a larger vertical slice. I got to work with mentors in the games industry, and I learned a ton about the development challenges that go into making games.
It was my first foray into making a larger-scale game, and it was a great learning experience.
